5 PM WEATHER 8-4-26 INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’ll enjoy one more quiet day on Wednesday before the chance of rain storms returns.   TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear and quiet. Lows in the low 60s, but a few upper 50s remain possible outside of Indy.  WEDNESDAY: Sun clouds. S easonably warm highs in the mid 80s.  There is a small chance of some late day showers storms mainly across NW Indiana. WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Variably cloudy and warmer. Lows in the upper 60s.   THURSDAY FRIDAY: Partly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers storms both days.  Highs in the low to mid 80s. Overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s.  Widespread weather still seems unlikely with this setup, but there may be heavy downpours and keep in mind any storm can produce dangerous lightning.  The Indiana State Fair kicks off Friday and we’ll just have to keep a close eye on radar.   WEEKEND: Partly cloudy, warm, and more humid. Highs in the mid 80s with lows in the upper 60s.  The chance of a few showers storms will continue, but it won’t be a weekend washout. We’ll continue monitoring for any strong/severe weather potential. NEXT WEEK: The upper-level weather pattern could support a few disturbances passing through that may lead to some additional rain storm chances.  It’s too hard to time things out this far in advance.  Seasonably warm highs in the mid to upper 80s look to continue.  Humidity looks like it’ll be pretty high through at least Wednesday with dew points climbing back into the 70s.   ...read more read less
