One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning on southbound Highway 17 in Campbell, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP said the crash remains under investigation and that the number and severity of any additional injuries are still unknown. The crash temporari ly closed the two right lanes of southbound Highway 17 north of Hamilton Avenue, as well as the southbound Hamilton Avenue exit. All lanes reopened at about 6:25 a.m. CHP said it is in the preliminary stages of the investigation and will release additional information when it becomes available. This is a developing story.
