Authorities arrested two teenagers following a shooting in a parking lot near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Monday night, police said. At about 9:02 p.m., Santa Cruz police received reports of shots being fired in the parking lot across from the popular amusement park, police said. Responding officers canvassed the area and collected multiple pieces of evidence, police said. Investigators identified two 17-year-olds as suspects in the shooting. Officers arrested them in the Stanislaus County city of Ceres, police said. No one was reported injured in the shooting. Videos on social media showed people scrambling to safety in the amusement park while officers responded to the scene.
