Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said a pastor was arrested on multiple felony charges after he admitted to having sexual activity with a minor.PCSO said 42-year-old Timothy Chaneyfield was a pastor at St. James United American Fr ee Will Baptist Church in Winter Haven. Chaneyfield told detectives he was a chaplain for Compassionate Care Hospice in Lakeland.PCSO said it received a National Center for Missing and Endangered Children cyber tip regarding inappropriate contact with a child.On July 28, detectives interviewed the 14-year-old victim, who said he met Chaneyfield on a dating app.PCSO said the victim told detectives he was picked up on three consecutive days at his subdivision and taken to Chaneyfield's home, where he engaged in sexual activity with the child.Chaneyfield told the teen he wanted to meet with him again after he returned from presiding over a funeral in Baltimore.PCSO obtained a warrant for Chaneyfield's arrest and worked with Orlando police to arrest him at Orlando Airport.Tampa Bay 28 has made the decision to show the mugshot of Chaneyfield because of his role within the community and his access to minors.A separate investigation was reported by an adult male.
