(Courtesy photo provided by the City of Crete)LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 3)–The funeral service for Crete Police Chief Gary Young will be Monday morning at 10am, with visitation at 9am, both inside Agricultural Hall at Tuxedo Park in Crete, according to a news release fro m the Nebraska State Patrol. After the service has concluded, there will there will be a procession to transport Chief Young to his final resting place at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, north of 14th and Pine Lake Road in Lincoln. Here’s the travel route for the funeral procession from Crete to Lincoln. IN CRETE: Depart Ag Hall and travel south on Tuxedo Park Road. Turn east on W 13th Street/Highway 33 to exit Crete. Travel on Highway 33 toward Lincoln. The Saline County Sheriff’s Office will provide traffic control in Crete. Courtesy of Nebraska State Patrol. IN LINCOLN: Enter Lincoln northbound on S 14th Street. Continue northbound on S 14th Street until arriving at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
