Dallas outscored Washington 20-2 to close the third quarter, taking a 72-45 lead into the break. The Wings are now 9-5 at home. The Sun have gone 3-13 away from home. The Wings are tied for the fifth-best record in the league, fourth in the Western Conference. The Wings also beat the Sun 86-83 in July. They play a third and final time this season on Aug. 30. Connecticut is unlikely to make the postseason. Three bus loads of fans from Houston attended the game. The Sun will relocate to Houston next season. The Wings take on the Washington Mystics, trying to avenge Friday’s blown lead, on Wednesday.
