You don’t have to be a theater reviewer to recognize talent onstage--it’s blindingly obvious. In 2009, the students of a local children’s theater who’d just performed a production of “Cats” came out after the show to receive hugs from family members and cellophane-wrapped flowers from fr iends. One performer--a Chittenango high school senior--was surrounded not by those he knew but by strangers. Over and over again, they said the same thing: “You were incredible.” They recognized what the kid had.
