A man was killed in a shooting Saturday morning in Southwest Philadelphia, according to police. Officials said the shooting occurred at approximately 9:40 a.m. inside a home on the 6500 block of Regent Street. When officers arrived, they found the victim in his mid-50s suffering from a gun shot wound to his lower left back. The man died at the scene, police said.
