This month, Elsinore Framing Fine Art Gallery will feature the work of pastel artist Vicki Brink. (ELSINORE FRAMING photo) Drawn from the Collection At the Hallie Ford Museum of Art through Nov. 21 The Hallie Ford Museum of Art is sharing a collection of drawings from Northwest artists, including Rick Bartow, Claudia Cave, James Castle, Carl Hall, Tom Cramer and Anne Siems.“Whether resulting in a tightly rendered figurative work or an expressive, process-oriented abstraction, drawing is a practice that allows for the artist to make a direct and immediate statement,” the museum website said. Healing Hearts Starting Aug. 7 at Salem on the EdgeThe “Healing Hearts” series of paintings by artist Patrice Cameron will be shown at Salem on the Edge’s downtown gallery this month.“These works are created in the style of imaginary realism, merging female inner and outer beauty with the symbolic wonders of the natural world. The objects on display come from four museums and historical societies throughout the state. There are also paintings from the art association’s collection accompanying the object – including a snowy landscape serving as the backdrop for mountaineering shoes.“The paradox affects institutions and individuals alike: we can’t get rid of the stuff – but we don’t know what to do with it either,” said a gallery description.  Learn more about the show here. A solo exhibition by studio artist Mya Cluff will share her ceramics, sketches and words.  “The birth of Cluff’s firstborn daughter in the middle of her BFA was the catalyst of her investigation of the maternal through her art practice.
