NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — The Pretender Hi-Fi Lounge Bar is now open at 818 Logan St. The Japanese kissa-style listening lounge in Noblesville, Indiana, features chef-driven small plates and an elevated cocktail program.
“It’s a cool ’70s vibe that transports
you the moment you walk in,” said Blake Fogelsong, owner and director of operations.
The venue centers on music with more than $60,000 in vintage and modern audio gear: Technics turntables, McIntosh amps, Tannoy and Sansui speakers, and an Akai reel-to-reel. Uncanned Music curates 3 1/2-hour analog tapes Sunday through Thursday, while local DJs spin vinyl on weekends. Guests can also bring their own records.
Executive chef Ricky Martinez’s menu highlights include house kettle chips with caviar, jalapeño-bacon jam deviled eggs, pork tenderloin with apples and cabbage, and a brie brûlée with pistachio dust.
