CATAWBA CO., N.C. – Catawba County investigators have named a person of interest in the disappearance of Robin Doyle. Doyle vanished from her Hickory home Monday. Investigators believe convicted kidnapper Leroy Loper is connected to her disappearance. Loper, a registered sex offender, is in cus tody on unrelated violations.
