SHIPSHEWANA, Ind. A northern Indiana mother faces murder charges following the death of her infant at their home in April.Indiana State Police say the investigation into the infants death started on April 6, when detectives joi ned in the multi-agency effort to uncover the circumstances surrounding the babys death.Through the course of the investigation, ISP says detectives finally gathered enough evidence to request charges be filed against the babys mother.The mother, 24-year-old Chantel Cunningham, was formally charged with murder and neglect of a dependent causing death on Wednesday.State police say Cunningham was being held at the LaGrange County Jail while she awaits her court hearing.The babys age, gender, or cause of death werent immediately clear. ...read more read less
