INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department detectives on Tuesday announced a man has been arrested over three years after a double homicide on Indy’s near north side. Noah Brimmage, 24, is charged in the fatal shootings of 27-year-old Darian Wiley and 24-year-old O livia Brown in the 2100 block of Ruckle Street on May 6, 2023. Police said two years after the murders, the IMPD unsolved homicide unit took over the case. RELATED | IMPD and community partners help families navigate homicide investigations Detectives were able to identify Brimmage, who was later found to be incarcerated for unrelated charges at the Branchville Correctional Facility, located in southern Indiana. He is now charged with two counts of murder, three counts of aggravated battery, robbery, and criminal recklessness. IMPD credited the breakthrough to persistent investigative work. “This investigation highlights the IMPD’s relentless commitment to seeking justice – no matter how long it takes,” the department said in a statement. “By revisiting evidence, tying forensic findings to the suspect, and using various investigative perspectives to ask and answer critical questions, detectives secured formal charges in this tragic case.
