A child is charged in connection to an investigation into several stolen cars in South Jersey, according to the Evesham Township Police Department. Several agencies came together to execute a search warrant in Camden on July 22, 2026, as part of an investigation after a BMW was stolen from a ho me in Marlton in June, police explained. Part of the investigation also includes several car break ins and thefts that have reportedly happened in Mount Laurel, Medford Township and Medford Lakes in July, police said. While officials were working on the search warrant, they said they found evidence in connection to their investigation. As of Monday, July 27, one child is charged with one count of third-degree receiving a stolen vehicle, officials said. The charge against the child is because they are accused of arriving to the scene of a theft in an Audi that was stolen from Vorhees Township, according to police. This investigation remains ongoing.
