MONROE COUNTY, Ind. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has arrested three people in connection with the theft of ATT copper wire along North Old State Road 37 in the Dolan area.According to the sheriff's office, the investigati on began June 3, after a citizen reported suspicious activity.ATT later confirmed that approximately 1,200 feet of copper telecommunications cable had been stolen, causing a significant service interruption for customers in northern Monroe County.Logan Shaw, Dovie Welch and Ashley Deckard were each charged with Critical Infrastructure Facility Mischief, Theft of a Valuable Metal, Criminal Trespass, and Organized Theft.Shaw was already in custody on unrelated charges and was served with the new arrest warrant while being held.On July 23, deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on West 13th Street in Bloomington and took Welch into custody.
