Police in Bucks County are asking homeowners to check their home surveillance cameras after a man was caught on video breaking into several cars and stealing a truck. According to the Upper Make field Township Police Department, officers were called to the Wilkes Manor neighborhood early in the morning of Sunday, July 26. Specifically, police said they went to homes on Swayze Avenue, Wilkes Street, Cox Avenue, Washington Street and Gilbert Street as well as Oakdale Avenue and Maple Shade Avenue. When the officers got into the neighborhood, they learned that a man had broken into several cars and that he had taken a white-colored Ford F-250 truck from Oakdale Street, police said. As they investigated, police reported that six cars were broken into with the suspect taking AirPods and some small cash. This all happened between 1:45 and 3:15 a.m. The man was seen on cameras wearing cargo pants, a long sleeved shirt, a fisherman’s hat, gloves and a fanny pack, police said.
