Four people shot after trying to intervene in argument in San Francisco

Four people were shot in San Francisco after trying to intervene in an argument between a man and a woman early Saturday morning, the police department said.
San Francisco police said officers responded to the 900 block of Market Street regarding a shooting at approximately 12:51 a.m.

ies said officers arrived on scene to find four men with apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported victims to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The police department reports a preliminary investigation determined that the victims attempted to intervene a verbal altercation between a man and a woman.
The man then pulled out a firearm, shot the four victims and ran away, police said.
