Westfield, Ind. (WRTV) The city of Westfield has become the center of the flag football universe this week, as more than 350 youth teams from around the globe have gathered for the NFL Flag Football Championship tournament, the largest event of its kind in the world.Games kicked off Thursday at Grand Park, with teams of boys and girls competing in a packed schedule that will culminate in semifinal matchups Saturday and championship finals on Sunday.Flag football is among the fastest-growing youth sports in the country, and organizers say the tournament reflects the sports rapid rise in popularity.
