A 5-year-old boy and a man were hurt in a drive-by shooting early Saturday in Little Italy on the Near West Side. A group was gathered in the 1000 block of West 14th Street around 12:35 a.m. when a vehicle pulled up and someone from inside opened fire, Chicago police said. The boy was shot in the ab domen and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
