TRAFALGAR, Ind. (WISH) — A beloved small-town coffee shop and bakery is making a big impression on Trafalgar, one pastry and cup of coffee at a time.
Butter, Sugar, Flour, located at 105 State Road 135 in Trafalgar, has become a local staple since opening about f
our years ago. Owner Kristyna Voris built the business from the ground up — quite literally starting from her own kitchen.
“I started as a baker in my home and got big enough that we wanted to open and add the coffee thing, so we found the building … and the rest is history,” Voris said.
And the community has clearly taken notice. What sets Butter, Sugar, Flour apart isn’t just the homemade baked goods and freshly brewed coffee — it’s the personal touch that keeps regulars coming back.
“You can come in and there’s comfortable seating and there’s people here that know your name and they’ll bring the stuff out to you,” Voris said. “We’ve built really great relationships with our regulars — we know them, we know their drink, we know their dogs, we know their families.”
The shop’s charm extends beyond its menu. Barista Grant Dalton, who proudly calls himself a “brorista,” has become a familiar face behind the counter, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that defines the Butter, Sugar, Flour experience.
