CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — Just in time for the holiday season (in five months), the Carmel Christkindlmarkt has unveiled the newest color in its annual boot-shaped mug lineup: Royal purple! The boot mug has become a collectable tradition synonymous with the market itself. Past colors and desig ns include red, blue, green, white, mint green, pink, and a special ice skate design. “The boot mug has become one of the most recognizable traditions of the Carmel Christkindlmarkt,” Jason Adamowicz, the CEO of the Carmel Christkindlmarkt, said. “Each year, guests start guessing the next color months in advance, and we’re excited to finally reveal this season’s variation. We can’t wait for all of our guests to see it in person when they visit us this holiday season.”  The mugs cost $8, and can be bought by themselves or with a serving of the market’s traditional German mulled wine.
