The candidates for an open east-side state representative seat’s Democratic nomination are scheduled to participate in a public forum on Wednesday, Aug. 5. The forum with the candidates — 97th General Assembly District hopefuls Leland Moore and Wildaliz Bermudez — will take place at the Fr iends Center For Children Flint Street Theater, 25 Flint St., beginning at 6 p.m. The East Shore, Fair Haven, and Quinnipiac East community management teams are hosting the event.
