An investigation is underway after, officials confirmed, a shooting happened at Norristown State Hospital on Friday morning. As of about 8:15 a.m., officials could only confirm a shooting investigation was underway at the hospital, located along the 1000 block of Sterigere Street in Norristown. During the morning, officers could be seen investigating a red sedan in the parking lot outside the building. Contacted Friday, officials were not immediately able to provide further information about this incident and could not say if anyone was injured in this shooting. But, an investigation is ongoing.
