Officers with the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the Delaware River on Wednesday night after it was reported that a person went into the water, officials said. Officers were called to the 100 block of South Columbus Boulevard just before 7 p.m. on July 22, police explained. Wh en they got to the scene, they were told that an adult man had gone into the river and had not resurfaced, according to police.
