A Colorado man is facing child abuse charges after authorities say he left his 7-year-old granddaughter alone inside a parked vehicle during a shopping trip, forcing the child to break a window to escape dangerous heat that officials estimated exceeded 150 degrees inside the car, according to Denver 7.com.
