TROPICAL UPDATE: A low pressure in the eastern Gulf is now “Tropical Depression Two”.This system will encounter wind shear, some dry air and be close to land, so rapid strengthening is not likely.This system is still expected to become Tropical Storm Bertha later Monday. As an area of high pres sure builds along the southeast coast, this low pressure will get steered westward toward Texas. Solid rain totals stretch from Florida to Texas due to this.
