Saturday, August 1Hops on the HillMile Wide Beer Co. | 636 Barret Avenue | milewidebeer.com | Free general admission, $15 VIP | 4 p.m. VIP, 5 p.m. general admission| 21 and over Mile Wide’s signature beer festival, Hops on the Hill, returns for its 10th anniversary, and this year is the bigges t and best lineup of guest breweries yet! Fabled Brew Works (Erlanger, KY) Brew Bridge (Owensboro, KY) West 6th Brewing (Lexington, KY) Three Floyd’s Brewing (Munster, IN) Perennial Artisan Ales (St. Louis, MO) Hopfly Brewing (Charlotte, NC) Xul Beer Co. (Knoxville, TN) Streetside Brewing (Cincinnati, OH) RaR Brewing (Cambridge, MD) Mikerphone Brewing (Chicago, IL) DSSOLVR (Asheville, NC) Wandering Monsters Brewing (Cincinnati, OH) As a beer geek, I have to say, this lineup is insane! Literally, several of the nation’s top-rated breweries (a few of which are my personal favorites) are on hand. And each brewery will bring three or more of their own beers to pour; many of which are rare and exclusive, so you won’t find them anywhere else in Louisville outside of this festival. You can check out the tap list on Mile Wide’s Facebook page. And, as always, Mile Wide has also collaborated on a few new beers with some of the guest breweries, and they’ll be rolling those out specially for the festival, as well as having several of their own beers on tap, including the namesake Hops on the Hill Juicy IPA. Also returning will be fan-favorite Louisville Silent Disco starting at 9 p.m. And there will be food available on site from Mac’s @ Mile Wide (Neapolitan-style pizza), Tommy’s Chicago Dogs (hot dogs), and Kirby Burgers (gourmet smashburgers). And new this year: Shops on the Hill featuring 15 local vendors selling everything from pottery to beer memorabilia. Hops on the Hill runs from 5:00 p.m. until midnight. General admission is free, just pay-per-beer. Or upgrade your experience with a VIP wristband ($10 for Mile Wide Club members, $15 for the general public), which will get you the following benefits: Access to the VIP Lounge, presented by Liquor Barn, with couches and fans. Early entry into the festival at 4 p.m. A VIP Lounge DJ to keep the vibes going. 12 taps from the guest breweries that will ONLY be available in the VIP Lounge. Or for $25, upgrade even further by getting a 2026 Mile Wide Club Membership, and they will throw in a Hops on the Hill VIP wristband for free, which not only gets you all of the Hops on the Hill VIP benefits, but also: Larger pours at the Mile Wide Taproom. Early access to new releases. Access to Mile Wide Club merch. 10% off all Mile Wide Beer Co. merch. Early entry into most Mile Wide festivals (including Hops on the Hill). VIP wristbands and Mile Wide Club memberships can be purchased now at the Mile Wide taproom, but act quickly, as VIP wristbands are limited and will almost certainly sell out before the festival. And I speak from experience when I say that the VIP upgrade is absolutely worth every penny! The post Hops On The Hill Beer Festival Returns To Mile Wide Beer Co.
