Taco Bell is being placed under the microscope.  Federal and state officials are investigating the fast food giant regarding a potential link between the cyclosporiasis outbreak over the past few weeks and Taco Bell, according to the Washington Post. The report says authorities wanted to determi ne if the chain is responsible for the parasitic illness that has infected thousands of people, causing them to have explosive diarrhea. Some Taco Bell’s have stopped serving some ingredients, like lettuce, since the outbreaks were reported.  Most of the reported cases are in Michigan.
