Courtesy image.  Details of the incident James Ackerman was last seen in Pierre, SD at 6am on Monday, July 13, 2026 in the 400 block of south Pawnee Street. James was wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. A check of his home was conducted about 3 pm and James was not located. James may be disoriented and confused. There are additional concerns for his safety due to extreme weather conditions in the area.
