Details of service: Funeral services for Robin will be held at the Hanson-Walbridge and Shea Funeral Home on Route 4596, Vermont 7A in Arlington, Vt., on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Ev ergreen Cemetery in Arlington. Robin Jones, 76 of Arlington, Vt. passed away at her home in Arlington on June 28, 2026. Robin was born in Stamford, Ct. on June 28, 1950, the daughter of William and Clara Henry. She was raised and attended schools in Norwalk, Ct. For many years Robin was a single mom raising two children while also working full time. After her children were grown, Robin attended Johnson State College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the age of 50. She then worked for many years with the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging as a Meal Site Developer across the state of Vermont. Many senior citizens will remember Robin as the person who organized and started the senior lunch restaurant and sites programs throughout the Bennington and Rutland area. She was a fantastic mother and just a really good human being. She was truly a free spirit. Robin is survived by her son Edward Jones, daughter Clara (Joshua) Allen, and her brother, William Henry of Arlington and several nieces and nephews.
