On Monday at 1:53 a.m. a heat advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Cayuga, Oswego, Jefferson, Lewis, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties.The weath er service informs, "Heat index values of 95 to 100 degrees across much of western and north central NY, with as high as 104 possible across the lake plains, Genesee Valley, and Finger Lakes region." ...read more read less
