I received a letter from the Republican National Committee some months ago. I still reread it in astonishment.  Here’s an excerpt: “Democrats have now fully launched a massive campaign to win majority control of both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate in the upcoming midterm election. They ’re working hand-in-glove with a broad coalition of liberal media, Hollywood activists, and radical left billionaires to control narrative, demean President Trump and the MAGA movement, and identify, motivate, register and turn out hundreds of thousands of new voters with one goal: Destroy us and all we stand for. “If they succeed, they will be able to stop cold President Trump’s historic fight to restore America’s greatness and reverse the decades of government bloat, punishing taxes, suffocating red tape, weakened borders, rampant crime, and moral decay that threatened the very existence of our nation and our American way of life. And to succeed, they only need to win a handful of U.S. House and U.S. Senate seats to regain majority control of Congress. “We cannot let them win and regain that kind of power.  As a freedom-loving American who shares our core Republican principles of small government, sovereign borders, individual freedom, and strong national security, you are our Party’s foundation. “Joe Gruters.
