The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the woman who died after a crash earlier this week in Eagle as 91-year-old Ruth Thayer of Garden City.Thayer died early July 9 at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center after suffe ring multiple blunt force injuries in the crash, according to the coroner. Her death was ruled an accident.The crash happened around 11:56 a.m. on July 6 at the intersection of East State Street and South Edgewood Lane.Investigators said Thayer was driving a 2004 Ford Thunderbird and was turning left onto South Edgewood Lane when her car collided with an eastbound 2024 GMC Sierra.Thayer was the only person in her vehicle. The 48-year-old man driving the pickup was the only occupant of the GMC.
