Lincoln Police cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR July 9)–One person was hurt in a collision between a car and a bike in southwest Lincoln on Wednesday evening. Rescue crews were called to an injury accident at 9th and South Street around 8pm Wednesday.  Lincoln Police Lt. Chris Weber t ells KFOR News the crash involved a 2018 white Dodge Charger, driven by a 23-year-old man, and a bicyclist. Weber says the investigation showed the Charger was southbound on 9th Street and approached the intersection, as the southbound traffic signal turned green, when it struck the cyclist. The 50-year-old cyclist had a red traffic signal. He was transported to a local hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.  So far, no citations have been issued and the investigation is ongoing. ...read more read less
