Tonight stays warm and muggy with temperatures only falling into the 70s. We’ll keep a quiet sky overnight with a few passing clouds, but there won’t be much in the way of relief. By the time you wake up Thursday morning, it’ll already feel sticky outside. Thursday brings another hot summer day with highs climbing into the mid 90s, and once you add in the humidity, it’ll feel more like the low 100s during the afternoon. Heat index values could easily push 102 to 104 degree range. Friday looks even hotter and may end up being the hottest day of this stretch. The first half of the day should be fairly quiet, but once we get past lunchtime and later in the afternoon, storm chances will begin to increase. Not everyone will see rain. By Sunday more widespread rain is in the forecast for a good chunk of the day. This front will give way to a 24 cool down heading into Monday! Stay tuned   ...read more read less
