Teen Cited in June Crash with LSO Cruiser at SW Lincoln Intersection

he intersection.
Lincoln Police on Wednesday morning confirmed the teen was cited and released for violating a traffic signal. Initially, the crash report said the 18-year-old claimed to have the green light on westbound Warlick Boulevard and entered the intersection, when her vehicle was hit by a southbound LSO cruiser, who had lights and sirens on heading to a call.
A review of the video by LSO showed the teen did not have a green light. The teen’s injuries were not serious and was treated and released. The deputy did not suffer any injuries. Both the LSO cruiser and the teen’s SUV were totaled.
