(Photo credit to Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR July 8)–An update to that late evening crash on June 10 at Highway 77 and Warlick Boulevard, where an SUV driven by an 18-year-old woman and a Lancaster County Sheriff’s Deputy’s cruiser collided in t he intersection. Lincoln Police on Wednesday morning confirmed the teen was cited and released for violating a traffic signal. Initially, the crash report said the 18-year-old claimed to have the green light on westbound Warlick Boulevard and entered the intersection, when her vehicle was hit by a southbound LSO cruiser, who had lights and sirens on heading to a call. A review of the video by LSO showed the teen did not have a green light. The teen’s injuries were not serious and was treated and released. The deputy did not suffer any injuries. Both the LSO cruiser and the teen’s SUV were totaled.   ...read more read less
