Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Troopers with the SC Highway Patrol are investigating a deadly hit and run accident. Investigators say just before 7am Wednesday morning a tractor trailer was driving east on SC Highway 6 in Lexington County when its trailer was struck by a driver in a 2023 Kia Rio dri ving west on WE Jeffcoat Rd. Troopers say the Kia was then hit by a driver in a dark colored sedan that left the scene. According to troopers the driver of the Kia died as a result of their injuries.
