The severe weather that blasted New Jersey over the weekend continues to wreak havoc Monday. Heavy rainfall is swamping the tri-state area throughout the day Monday. Long Island and Connecticut may be the hardest hit by this system, but New York City and New Jersey aren’t out of the woods — n ot by a long shot. People have taken to social media to showcase some of the jaw-dropping flood scenes in New Jersey. In videos captured, you can see submerged streets. Some vehicles pass by, but the majority have stopped refusing to cross flood waters (a very smart decision), or seem to have stalled in the water.
