As temperatures reached 100 degrees on Friday, the forecast is calling for more of the same on Saturday, July 4th. These extreme temperatures have led to Independence Day event cancelations throughout the Philadelphia region. Read on for which events have been cancelled. July 4th events cancelled in Pennsylvania Bucks County The Marple Newtown 4th of July parade was cancelled. Delaware County Sharon Hill’s July 4th parade was cancelled. Montgomery County Norristown’s 4th of July parade was cancelled. Skippack’s Fourth of July parade and fireworks were cancelled. July 4th events cancelled in South Jersey Camden County Haddon Township’s Independence Day parade was cancelled. Cape May County Cape May’s Independence Day parade was cancelled. Gloucester County Paulsboro’s Fourth of July parade was cancelled. Mercer County Trenton’s Cultural Heritage Parade and Festival was postponed. July 4th events cancelled in Delaware No events have been cancelled as of Friday, July 3rd as of 5 p.m. Be on the lookout from your community as officials announce their plans to reschedule any postponed events.
