COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — When you drive down any neighborhood street, pass by a school or government building, or head to the ballpark, you will likely see American flags flying from several homes or flag poles. And there’s a good chance the flags you see or display at your home are made righ t here in South Carolina. As part of ABC Columbia’s America 250 series, Kelly Coakley recently spent time at two of Valley Forge Flag’s South Carolina manufacturing facilities — one in Lane and one in Kingstree. The company, headquartered in Pennsylvania, established operations in the Palmetto State 35 years ago.
