A man was shot and injured after he tried to enter a home in North Philadelphia on Tuesday night, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. at a home on the 3400 block of Palethorp Street. According to police, officers responded to St. Christopher ’s Hospital after receiving a report of a walk-in gunshot victim. The victim, a 25-year-old man, was suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. Police said preliminary investigation determined that the man was trying to enter the home on Palethorp Street when a 26-year-old man inside fired three shots, striking the victim once in the leg. Investigators also determined that the incident was domestic-related.
