Lincoln Fire Engine no. 16. (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR June 30)–No one was hurt when a two-alarm fire broke out early Tuesday afternoon at a north Lincoln retirement community. LFR was called to Autumn Wood, off of 27th and Folkways Boulevard shortly after 12:30pm.  Two couches were tak en out that appeared to have caught on fire..  LFR officials say the fire was contained to one unit and one person was able to evacuate.  A dog and cat were found and went with Animal Control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Autumn Wood is a retirement community for people 55 and older, which mostly consists of single-family homes and townhomes. ...read more read less
