At 12:31 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued an extreme heat warning valid from Wednesday 10 a.m. until Friday 8 p.m. for Southeast Warren as well as Herkimer, Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Washington, Schoharie, Schenectady, Albany, Rensselaer, Greene, Columbia, Ulster and Dutchess counties."Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 105 to 111 degrees expected," comments the weather service.
