Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was hit and killed by a vehicle Sunday in the city’s Kensington section. Police said around 11:55 a.m., Sunday, June 28, 2026, officers responded to the 200 block of East Wishart Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, police said officers found a man suffering from injuries after being struck by a vehicle. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead at 12:09 p.m. The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene, according to police.
