Street closures around Grant Park begin Monday for the Taste of Chicago Festival, which is set to run from July 8-12.Starting 6 a.m. Monday, June 29, the curb lanes of Columbus Avenue will close from Monroe Street to Balbo Drive, according to the Office of Emergency Management and Communication.That section of street fully closes 6 a.m. Thursday, July 2. At the same time, Ida B. Wells will fully close from Columbus to the semicircle.At 6 a.m. Sunday, July 5, Jackson Drive will fully close from Michigan Avenue to Lake Shore Drive.
