A 22-year-old man died after going over Nevada Fall in Yosemite National Park last Saturday, according to the National Park Service. The victim was identified by the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division as Josue Baires Alfaro, the park service said. At about 11 a.m. Saturday, Yo semite park dispatch received reports of a person who had gone over the 594-foot waterfall. Park rangers and search and rescue personnel responded to the scene and performed search and recovery operations below the waterfall, the park service said.
