BART resumed service between South Hayward, San Leandro and Castro Valley stations Thursday morning after a trackside equipment problem near the Bay Fair station, while major delays still affect the Berryessa and Dublin/Pleasanton lines, transit officials said. The transit agency earlier halted s ervice through the stations because of the equipment issue, disrupting travel across multiple East Bay lines during the morning commute.
