A 52-year-old driver was killed in a crash early Tuesday in Lake View. The man was behind the wheel of a gray SUV around 3 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Irving Park Road when he tried to make a left turn from a parking lot, Chicago police said.Police said the lanes of travel were not clear as the d river proceeded to turn, and a black eastbound car hit his SUV. The SUV driver was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:41 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
