Woman charged with murder after man killed in North Philly arson, police say

Police have arrested and charged a 38-year-old woman after a man was killed in a fire at a home in North Philly on Monday that was determined to be caused by arson, officials said.
In an update on Wednesday morning, police said that Natasha Teague has been arrested and charged with murder, arson
and related offenses after a 69-year-old man was found dead in a home along the 3600 block of Percy Street by firefighters responding to a fire at about 1 p.m. on Monday.
After being found unresponsive in the burning home, police said, 69-year-old Barry Turner was pronounced at the scene at about 2:09 p.m. on Monday.
An investigation by fire officials determined the fire was intentionally set, police said.
Police said that officers apprehended Teague on Tuesday.
However, officials did not immediately detail Turner’s cause of death in this incident, but they said an investigation is ongoing.
