A fire in North Philadelphia on Monday where a person was found dead has been ruled incendiary, officials told NBC10. The fire occurred at the 3600 block of North Percy Street just before 1 p.m., officials said. The fire started on the first floor of one rowhome, and then spread to five other ne ighboring rowhomes via their porches. The extent of damage for each home was not immediately available. More than 75 Philadelphia Fire Department personnel battled the blaze, which was put out by 1:36 p.m. According to officials, one person was found dead in the home where the fire started. The identity of the person or their cause of death has not yet been released. On Tuesday, fire officials said the blaze has been determined to be incendiary and the investigation has been handed over to the Philadelphia Police Department.
